Suspension springs have a Conformity Certificate of FBO “Register of Certification on the Federal Railway Transport”.
Quality management system of the enterprise is certified against the requirements of the International standard ISO 9001:2008 by the certification authority Bureau Veritas Certification.
“Ural Spring Plant” was assigned a stamping reference number for cylindrical coiled springs for bogies suspension by the Council of Railway Transport of member-states of the CIS.
The results of investigation tests at the Ural department of OJSC “All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Railway Transport” showed that test springs produced at “Ural Spring Plant” Ltd. had sustained 10 000 000 load cycles without destruction that proves their high quality.
Cylindrical coiled springs of bogies Mod. 18-100, 18-194-1, 18-555 are the elements of a spring group of corresponding railway freight car bogies. Spring suspension of these bogies consists of two groups of springs located in spring cavities of left and right solebars. Each group includes seven two-row cylindrical springs and two wedge-like friction shock absorbers. Each two-row spring consists of outer and inner spring of different coiling, right and left, in order to avoid clutching of springs. For the production of springs of this type, hot-rolled round bars made of alloyed spring steel (60S2HFA (60С2ХФА), 55S2 (55С2)) are used according to GOST 14959-79 “Spring carbon and alloy steel bars”.
At production of springs for freight car bogies at “Ural Spring Plant”, a traditional technology of hot rolling is used along with up-to-date imported and home equipment that together with quality imported and home rolled metal products ensure high quality of output products.
The plant test laboratory is equipped with up-to-date imported and home equipment. The Laboratory has a certificate of measuring equipment state estimation of a laboratory of Federal Budgetary Organization “Standardization, Metrology and Certification Centre of Bashkortostan Republic”.
“Ural Spring Plant” manufactures almost any compression, extension, torsion springs and torsion bars of hot and cold coiling made of wire, bar with the diameter 0.5 to 50 mm.
